NAQAA for Sustainable Solutions has prepared a report on the results of the first year of the program, based on the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) statistics system. NAQAA Solutions is the company that supplied Jeddah offices with the recycling bins. In addition, NAQAA is responsible for collecting and recycling the waste on a monthly basis and sending it to the facilities of the Waste Collection and Recycling Company Limited “Wasco” in Jeddah.
Below are the most important environmental achievements of the “Zero Waste Offices” program since its launch at Napco National’s offices in Jeddah, by recycling 1,570 KG – 1.57 tons:
- Saved 26 trees
- Saved 36 cubic meters of landfills
- Saved almost 6.28 tons of CO2
- Saved 10,990 gallons of water
- The implementation of the recycling program at Napco National offices supports toward the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, which Napco Sustainability program strives to realize, namely: SDG 11, SDG 12 and SDG 17.
The “Zero Waste Offices” program is one of Napco sustainability programs, which also aims to support the circular economy of plastic and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, whereby both aim to protect the environment and the future of the coming generations.
