The food basket program is an initiative that aims to provide essential food items to people in need, such as those facing difficult economic conditions, orphans, patients, people of determination, captured prisoners, and security guards. It is worth noting that this is the fifth year of fruitful cooperation between the two esteemed organizations.
The food baskets contain a range of essential food items, and kitchen tools such as Sanita tissue paper, Hala tissue papers, Sanita tablecloths, Sanita aluminum foil rolls, Sanita nylon paper rolls, and Sanita tie waste bags.
The food baskets are distributed in various areas, including Makkah, Al-Jumum, Al-Qunfudhah, Bahra, Laith, Jeddah, and Riyadh. The program has been a great success, with 5,000 baskets distributed to 2,500 families in need. Also, Napco National has joined the ranks of the UN Global Compact’s list of signatories. This event embodies its commitment to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for The Goals).
As the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him, said, “The best of you is he who feeds food.” Napco National’s involvement in the Together Society’s food basket program is a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact on the community. By providing essential food items to those in need, Napco National and Together Society are helping to uplift the community and make a positive change.
