Based on the official statistics reported on the official website of the United Nations regarding the repercussions of COVID-19 and its impact on youth around the world, “The economic impact of COVID-19 is likely to make the job market more challenging for youth. In the first quarter of 2020, the ILO reported a loss of over 5.4% of global working hours (compared to the first quarter of 2019), which equates to 155 million full-time jobs.” As a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact, and a leading industrial company with effective social responsibility across the societies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Gulf countries, Napco National took upon itself the mission to empower Saudi youth and support them to face these challenges.
