For the first time, INDEVCO Human Resources and Organizational Development (HR&OD) sent 14 interns with engineering backgrounds to Napco plants in Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh – Saudi Arabia. During summer 2014, Napco manufacturing companies provided trainees with qualified coaches and supervisors to broaden their knowledge through hands-on experience.
The comprehensive internship program offered students a new cultural experience and opened professional doors. The 2014 initiative helps students translate academic learning into practical application. Students will gain know-how through exposure to INDEVCO and Napco business and the industrial sector, while also contributing new ideas and fresh approaches to work methods. Internships in Saudi Arabia allow INDEVCO/Napco to build paths for future recruits.
In 2014, INDEVCO HR&OD also accommodated 130 trainees at INDEVCO manufacturing plants in Lebanon, consistent with the Group’s commitment to youth development.
