National Paper Products Company Renews ISO 9001:2008 Certification

National Paper Products Company passes ISO 9001:2008 re-audit conducted by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), third-party certification body. The re-certification validates that National Paper Products Company meets international ISO 9001:2008 quality management system standards for the development and manufacturing of paper-based products including paper bags, multiwall sacks, and paper cores.

ISO 9001:2008 renewal audit confirms that National Paper Products Company integrates business objectives into processes and measures performance, as well as implements a customer-centered management system with uninterrupted process development. With a certified quality management system, National Paper Products Company improves operations, product quality, and risk management, as well as reduces waste and ensures effective product/service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Raed Al-Dabbas, LRQA Business Manager, and Munzer Baddar, QMS Lead Auditor, conducted the ISO 9001:2008 repeat audit at the Dammam-based plant from 15 – 18 December 2013. The re-certification full company audit included a meticulous evaluation process, assessing the effectiveness of the manufacturer’s quality management system from development to documentation review.
