Through continuous quality improvement, Multipak achieved Grade ‘A’ in the BRC/IoP ‘Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials’ re-audit conducted on 8-9 July 2012. This new achievement signifies Multipak’s highest grade to date, moving up from a Grade ‘B’ in 2011 re-audit.
By acquiring and continuously improving quality standards according to BRC/IoP technical standards, Multipak ensures its prospects and customers of its capability and competence to facilitate the packaging, storage and distribution of safe food and consumer (non-food) products.
During the audit, conducted by Karl Hermann Klêgel, Lead Auditor from TÜV NORD CERT, Germany, Multipak received praise on management’s high commitment to advancing quality management systems and enhancing food safety and security.
About BRC/IoP Issue 4 Grading
Issue 4 of the BRC/IoP standard for packaging integrates a grading system, with ‘A’ representing highest result. ‘A’ or ‘B’ grading results in a plant are re-audited on annual basis, while a ‘C’ grade incurs a semi-annual re-audit, and ‘D’ grade sites are not certified. [1]
