Napco National Employees Participate in the “Green Roads” Event sponsored by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and in collaboration with its partners RECOM, Dow Chemical Company, and Averda

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Jeddah launched the “Green Roads” event, in collaboration with its partners, Napco National’s plant for Plastic Recycling services “RECOM,” the Dow Chemical Company, and Averda for Sustainable Waste Management Services. This event aims to collect plastic waste from the roads surrounding the university, to be recycled at RECOM plant and reused to build green and sustainable roads under the management of the Dow Chemical Company.

More than 20 employees from Napco National Company participated in this event, along with more than 300 volunteers. This cooperation contributed to the collection of 860 kg of plastic waste, which will be recycled into a new bitumen modifier that enhances the quality of the roads and extends their lifespan while reducing environmental impacts.
