As Coronavirus further spreads worldwide, Napco National diligently took action to implement the needed precautionary measures to protect employees and our partners (hired laborers, contractors, suppliers, trainees), and to maintain quality performance. These various measures are in line with the directives of the Saudi Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.

First, NAPCO suspended the fingerprint biometric attendance system and replaced it with card readers system. Other precautionary measures included sanitizing the company’s industrial and administrative facilities as well as the staff accommodation, providing employees with hygiene and sanitizing products, keeping social distancing between employees at offices and cafeterias, and closing down prayer rooms to avoid crowds.

Moreover, NAPCO implemented the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development directives to the companies in the private sector to limit the number of employees on premises. Accordingly, Napco limited to the crucial minimum the number of employees present at any of its facilities and put in practice effective strategies for remote work. It also created attendance shifts to ensure efficient work attendance in all factories and offices.

The company ensured that all employees were kept updated with all directives of the Ministry of Health and World Health Organization languages via internal announcements, awareness videos, social media posts, and mobile app notifications. Basic safety and hygiene instructions & precautions were printed in different languages and duly distributing across all facilities.
