Thus, we aspire to provide tools, support, and guidance that would allow our employees to be at their best on both a personal and professional level. In this context, a training course under the “Qudratak..Quwatak” program as part of the company’s commitment to a workplace that supports employees with special needs was conducted for a group of Napco employees with special needs to raise awareness of the importance of mental health in the workplace. Throughout the course, the participants were reminded of the importance of mental health and the factors that negatively affect psychological stability and were introduced to effective methods that contribute to raising morale and enhancing mental health inside and outside the work environment. In addition, they were introduced to the Mental Health Promotion Committee at Napco National and urged to communicate with members of the committee and not hesitate to seek help when needed. The training was conducted at the Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in Dammam by Ms. Fatima Al Khalaf, the Mental Health Ambassador at Napco National and the creator of the Committee for Mental Health Promotion at the Workplace in cooperation with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion.

Napco National is committed to providing its employees with a place where they feel comfortable expressing themselves openly and honestly. An empathic and human-centered work environment is fostered by the Mental Health Committee and serves as the cornerstone of Napco’s commitment to psychological well-being. Therefore, as a reminder that mental health has a direct impact on the physical health, we have initiated conversations on mental health in the workplace and implemented an Employee Assistance Program as part of our strategy to promote further dialogues on mental health in order to meet the concerns and needs of our employees holistically. Also, since Napco National is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact. This event embodies its commitment to SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 10 ( Reduced Inequalities).
