EASTERNPAK Maintains High Quality Standards with ISO 9001:2008 & FEFCO GMP Certification

EASTERNPAK, Saudi-based corrugated packaging manufacturer, acquires FEFCO Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) re-certification and renews ISO 9001:2008. The certifications validate EASTERNPAK’s commitment to maintaining high managerial and manufacturing standards to attain customer satisfaction.

In accordance with TÜV NORD CERT auditing and certification procedures, the third-party German certification body, conducted audits at EASTERNPAK’s Dammam-based plant in Q2 2013.

EASTERNPAK ISO 9001:2008 Renewal

EASTERNPAK quality management systems meet ISO 9001:2008 international standards for sales and manufacturing of various types of corrugated carton boxes and specialty relate products including preprint rolls. The manufacturer implements ISO 9001:2008 standards for a quality management from developing a new product, to performance auditing.

Passing the ISO certification renewal audit validates EASTERNPAK’s operations as efficient and effective and ensures that customers receive high-quality corrugated packaging goods and services.

EASTERNPAK FEFCO GMP Re-Certification

TÜV NORD CERT certifies that Easternpak manufactures “corrugated products that may come into direct or indirect contact with agriculture, food, and pharmaceutical products”. The re-certification guarantees that EASTERNPAK consistently delivers quality products that are safe, secure, and sanitary.
GMP International Good Manufacturing Practice Standard for corrugated and solid board ensures that EASTERNPAK corrugated packaging products comply with European Union standards as per regulations 1935/2004/EG.

GMP promotes companies to put in place rigorous control systems in order to effectively monitor products from raw material selection until delivery to customer.
